Hi, I’m Camille

The Heart Behind Iski’s Bakehouse

I’m Camille, a self-taught baker and cook with a habit of spending ten hours in the kitchen, music blasting, flour dusting everything (including me).

Food Growing up

My love for food started as a kid, watching cooking videos in my room and trying to recreate each dish with whatever ingredients I could scrounge up.

Growing up overseas, I was surrounded by a world of flavors—each meal its own little adventure. From street food stalls to family dinners, I dove in with an open heart and an even wider-open stomach. Food quickly became my language, my way of connecting and understanding people and places.

Now, I’m driven by a love for food science, the rich stories behind recipes, and an insatiable curiosity for new flavors. I cook to create, to share, and to bring a little joy (and maybe a bit of mess) to the lives of others, one meal at a time.

"Cooking has always been my way of showing love. My ikigai, my reason for being, is to share food, nurture others, and connect on a deeper level. Every dish I create carries a part of me—my heart, my love, my care."
